C.C. Burling Design is an interior design studio based in Phoenix, creating thoughtfully layered homes throughout Paradise Valley, Arcadia, North Central Phoenix, and Scottsdale.
Inspired by the Valley’s timeless architecture and relaxed lifestyle, our work blends classic design principles with natural materials, curated furnishings, and custom details—resulting in spaces that feel both elevated and deeply livable.

C.C. Burling Design is a collaborative studio led by Alli Kniepman and Jenna Wachs, brought together by a shared appreciation for timeless interiors and thoughtfully designed homes. With complementary perspectives and an easy creative synergy, their partnership brings both depth and a sense of balance to each project. Together, they create spaces that feel refined, welcoming, and deeply livable—rooted in intention, warmth, and a sense of ease.
Alli Kniepman
Interior Designer, ASID | Founder
C.C. Burling Design was established in 2024 and is named for Alli’s children, Cooper and Caroline, as well as Burling Street in Chicago—an early inspiration for her appreciation of timeless architecture and thoughtful design.
Creativity has long been part of Alli’s story. From making handbags, aprons, and greeting cards in her younger years to earning a degree in Interior Design, she has always been drawn to creating things that feel both beautiful and meaningful.
Now rooted in Phoenix with her husband Kyle and their two children, Alli feels especially grateful to design homes within the Arcadia community that helped shape her. Her work centers on creating spaces that feel refined, welcoming, and deeply personal—homes designed to support the way families truly live.
Jenna Wachs
Interior Designer, Partner
Originally from Canada, Jenna Wachs brings a natural eye for beauty and a love of transformation to every project. With years of experience managing remodels and reimagining interiors, she thrives on the process of turning houses into homes filled with warmth, character, and thoughtful detail.
Now based in Phoenix with her husband David and their two boys, Mason and Chase, Jenna finds inspiration in the rhythm of family life, the desert landscape, and the small details that make everyday spaces feel special.
Her approach to design blends timeless sensibilities with a fresh perspective, helping create homes that feel both elevated and comfortably lived in.
